Self-Publishing Companies

So you’ve written a book, have decided to publish it yourself, and are now asking: “How exactly do I self-publish my book?” Before delving into details, here are two considerations:
1) What tasks can you do yourself and what tasks do you want to hire others to do for you? This will give you more control over tasks, quality and costs, but could also take more time and attention. See  Pro Help to find freelancers and writing professionals.
2) Do you want to save time by purchasing a bundle of self-publishing services from one company? This route may be more costly, and you must do research to ensure you are getting quality work and to avoid  scams.
If you are still not sure which is the best path, check with other writers or  writing professionals.

Below are self-publishing companies located in Victoria BC and beyond. (Note: this is a limited list. Worldwide there are many, many more self-publishing companies than are listed here).
Information to avoid scams can be found here. For other resources, check the Self-Publishing Resources tab on the left.
